Residents and staff at Normanton Lodge had a great day celebrating the 80th Anniversary of VE Day last week. The home was decorated with lots of bunting and flags. The staff all dressed up in different uniforms which went down a treat. There was entertainment in the form of razzle dazzle singing with lots of war songs – great for our residents to sing along to. We also had a fab buffet (thank you kitchen team) which everybody tucked in to.
All in all it was a great day, with lots of memories and stories of days past. We hope you enjoyed your VE Day celebrations too.
