Situated right in the heart of Mansfield, The Mansfield Retirement Village Apartments come in either one or two- bedroom designs. Located in a separate wing from the Willow Tree House care home and accessed by a magnificent entrance hall and communal lounge and dining areas, they offer much more than the traditional care home. More space, more amenities and all backed by the same great level of care delivered just next door.
Giving you peace of mind
We want you to have complete peace of mind, but also to enjoy the sense of freedom that comes from having your own space. You can have full access to the personal care services of the care home – so help with washing, dressing, meal provision, and laundry. You will have your own communal areas separate from the care home, and your own communal garden. We want to create a community where you can have privacy, dignity and are able to do things for yourself should you want to.
When you feel the need for help we will be on hand to provide that assistance. This is important as we don’t want you to feel that you have to fend for yourself on those occasions when that feels too much for you. We think it’s the best of both worlds.
A range of beautiful apartments
You can choose from a range of one or two-bed apartments to suit your circumstances. You might be looking for an apartment just for yourself or perhaps you are a couple who would like a bit more space or need a separate bedroom so that loved ones could stay over from time to time.
So that you can maintain your privacy and security each apartment has its own lockable front door.
Every apartment is equipped with its own ensuite wetroom with shower, basin and toilet. There is a lounge with a dining area and well-designed kitchenette, complete with fridge, microwave and tea and coffee maker. Apartments are individually decorated and fully equipped with high quality furniture and furnishings including wardrobes, dining table and chairs, as well as an armchair for you to relax in. We also encourage you to personalise the apartment with your own furniture and possessions should you wish to. We want you to feel that you are in your own home from home, so having familiar things around you is important.
A wide range of amenities
At The Mansfield Retirement Village we want you to feel that you are part of a vibrant community, and we have created a range of beautiful facilities for you to enjoy.
The reception area is a magnificent space, with high ceilings and a jaw dropping chandelier taking centre stage. Attached to the reception there are a number of seating areas when you can relax, catch up with friends and family and have a coffee or a chat. A mezzanine dining area overlooks the reception area and provides plenty of space for a family get together, perhaps for a Sunday lunch. There are bright lounges for you to sit in at your leisure, should you decide you would like a change of scene from your apartment.
There is a café for socializing in and when you feel the need for a bit of pampering we have a fully equipped hairdressing salon for you. For the more active residents we have a small gym with a good range of equipment to enable you to stay fit and healthy. Externally the Retirement Village has a lovely garden and some of the apartments have their own balcony space. Whatever you want to do with your day we are confident there is a space to suit your needs.

We believe our new apartments at can help enhance your experience of later life. All the apartments are designed to make living easier for you, as well as being built to a very high standard. Every detail has been carefully thought out from access to care support, through to individual fixtures and fittings. We have also made sure that you are able to easily meet and socialise with other apartment residents by designing a great range of communal facilities.
