We often have reminiscence sessions at Normanton Lodge, where residents recall events and occasions from their past. Will last week we had something a little different. We had a reminiscing session with an old-style telephone. It was connected to a live phone line and one of our activity coordinators rang her sister, so the residents were having a real conversation on the phone. It was great to see everyone’s expressions as they recalled using phones like this back in the day. When’s the last time you used an old style phone – can you even remember??
