A gold star was given to our Willow Tree House carer, Nicola, today. Last week we did a spot quiz and identified that she could benefit from some training to improve her knowledge around the Mental Capacity Act and deprivation of liberty issues. Rather than wait for that to be organised, Nicola, in her own time, read up on all the identified issues and today proudly shared her knowledge with other staff members. It’s fantastic when a team member is motivated like this, and she is now amazingly knowledgeable on all things MCA and DOLS. What a great attitude and an inspiration to us all!
